No, tarantula hawks are not found in Germany. They are primarily found in the southwestern United States, Central and South America, and parts of Asia. These large, solitary wasps are known for their painful sting and are often associated with arid and desert environments, which are not typically found in Germany. Therefore, it is unlikely that tarantula hawks would be present in the country. **

To scare off buzzards or hawks, you can try using visual deterrents such as reflective objects like CDs or mirrors, scarecrows, or predator decoys. You can also use noise deterrents like loud noises or distress calls of other birds to make the area less appealing to them. Additionally, you can try installing physical barriers like netting or fencing to prevent them from accessing certain areas. It's important to rotate these methods regularly to prevent the birds from getting used to them. **

Additionally, there may be other candidates who are more qualified or better suited for the role. **

Many hawks perform poorly due to habitat loss and degradation, which reduces their available hunting grounds and nesting sites. Additionally, they are often victims of collisions with vehicles and structures, such as power lines and buildings. Pesticide use also poses a threat to hawks, as they can be exposed to toxic chemicals through their prey. These factors can lead to decreased population numbers and overall poor performance of many hawk species. **
